The basis we work on.

These terms set out the general basis on which JPE Protection Inc. provides security and protection services. They are written in plain language for the benefit of our clients.

They are not legal advice, and they do not replace the written agreement for a specific engagement. Where an engagement has its own signed agreement, that agreement governs.

The services we provide, the number of personnel, the dates and the locations are agreed with you in writing before an assignment begins. Work outside that agreed scope is a separate arrangement.

We will tell you plainly if a request is outside what we can deliver, or if the timeline does not allow it.

A request submitted through this website is an enquiry, not a booking. No assignment is confirmed until we have confirmed it with you and the agreed terms are in place.

Any quotation we provide is based on the information you give us. If the information changes materially, the scope and the cost may need to be revisited.

You agree to give us accurate information about the assignment, the site and the people involved, and to tell us about anything that could affect the safety of our personnel or of others.

You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the site, and to observe the law in your dealings with us and with our personnel.

Our personnel are placed on assignment based on the requirements of that assignment, including experience, judgement and availability. Assignments are staffed at our discretion.

Personnel remain under our direction while on assignment. The chain of command for each engagement is agreed before work begins.

We treat information about your assignment, your business and the people involved as confidential, and we expect the same in return about our methods and our personnel.

We may be required to disclose information where the law compels it.

Our liability in relation to an engagement is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and to the terms set out in the written agreement for that engagement.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and it applies to enquiries made after it is published.

The governing law and jurisdiction that apply to a specific engagement are set out in the written agreement for that engagement. Contact us and we will confirm them for your assignment.
